Hey ya'll! How's everyone doing? Thought I'd pop in for a minute and let everyone know I'm still alive, and college hasn't done me in...yet.

My semester has been crazy, seeing as this is my last year. I just got through a modular week and am now busily trying to do homework for my regular weekly classes. But the semester is already beyond half over, so it's all downhill from here!

I have lots of photos to post, but Im not sure when I'll get to them. It may not be for a while, but I'll do what I can.

On another note, I've been able to see both 'Where the Wild Things Are' and 'Astro Boy'. WTWTA is, IMO, terrible. The cinematography? Beautiful. It's gorgeous just to look out. The storyline and plot? Horrendous, IMO. The only redeeming thing about it is the child actor for Max is one of the best I've seen in years. I know a lot of people disagree with this view and love the film, but this is just my point of view...and my opinion is, it could have been so much better. I was very disappointed. On another hand, I really liked Astro Boy! It was made by Summit and Imagi Studios, and was very well done. The plot was consistent and engrossing, and the animation was wonderful. If you're looking for a film kids will enjoy, pick Astro Boy over WTWTA. There was a ton of kids in WTWTA when I saw it, and they were all bored or scared. In Astro Boy, they all laughed and cheered. Case point. (WTWTA is more of a psychological film for adults. It is not really for kids, IMO.)
